Helena’s Unique Approach to Cutting and Sculpting Hair

I specialize in dry cutting and sculpting hair. In its natural, dry state, the hair speaks more clearly and guides my cutting and sculpting effortlessly. Dry hair shows me how your hair grows, its length, and its natural texture. Wet hair reveals very little of these attributes and can be deceiving to the eye and to the touch.

I listen intently to my clients and their hair so that I can understand their expectations, needs, and concerns. When I listen to both the person and their hair, I am better able to create a style that looks fantastic and is easy to style at home.

My intention is for my clients to fall in love with their hair! To inspire them to pay attention to how they look and feel so they can fall in love with themselves inside and out. I truly believe that self first is not selfishness but rather much-needed self-love. When we genuinely love and accept ourselves, we can truly love and accept others. My passion and intention are to bring out both inner and outer beauty in all of my clients.

The colors of nature and her changing seasons inspire me, and I see myself as a conduit to the creative and spiritual energy that flows through me. Your hair is my canvas, and my heart connects to your heart through energy and communication, guiding me to find what is best for you and your hair. For me, doing hair is all about change and letting go. I ask my clients to imagine anything in their lives that no longer serves them energetically and to send that energy to the end of their hair. As I cut it off, I help my clients imagine letting go and creating space for new possibilities.
